Victor Albuquerque
Our founding chairman of the Alcon Victor Group, Mr. Victor Albuquerque, was a visionary leader with a relentless dedication to innovation.
He commenced his career as an Asst. Engg. in the Public Works Department of the Government of Goa in 1966. After 6 years, he co-founded the construction firm ALCON, and then later ventured into business by himself diversifying into construction, real estate, hospitality, healthcare and social services. Notable projects include the construction of hotels and resorts such as Delmon, Ronil Beach Resort, and Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort. Additionally, he established the Apollo Victor Hospital and the first College of Nursing in Margao, Goa. Mr. Albuquerque was also actively involved in social activities, having held esteemed positions in various organizations such as the Rotary Club of Panaji and the Clube Vasco da Gama. He was also appointed by the Government of Russia as the Honorary Consul of Russia for Goa.
